Transport to Hermanus: 
Hermanus is about a one hour drive from Cape Town International airport. The course organisers will arrange transport from the airport to Hermanus and the successful applicants will be advised of the transport arrangements closer to the time of the course.
Power supply: Electricity runs on 220/230V, 50Hz AC
Currency:    R/$ = 8   R/€ = 11.50  R/£ = 13.50

Climate: Late summer (March) is idyllic, with warm balmy days.
Time zone:  Local time is equal to GMT + 2 hour.
Drinking water: Tap water is safe to drink.
Travel insurance: You are advised to obtain medical insurance before leaving your country of origin, as visitors are responsible for their own medical costs.
