THIRD ADVANCED SUMMER SCHOOL IN AFRICA

NUTRITION AND DISEASE: Biochemical and Molecular Insights


 Programme

A faculty of local and international scientists will conduct the one week advanced theoretical training course for young scientists interested in 'NUTRITION AND DISEASE: Biochemical and Molecular Insights'.  The course will include lectures and tutorials on the topic. 

 

Areas to be covered include:

  • Prevalent chronic diseases
  • Infectious diseases
  • Aging
  • Cancer

 

Participants

The course is open to all nationalities. Selection of the trainees will be on a competitive basis and only outstanding applicants will be selected to participate in the course. Applicants must be senior PhD students, postdoctoral fellows or young academics under the age of 35 who are in possession of a PhD degree with the appropriate background knowledge and expertise in the area of the course.
