Mode of application & deadline

In order to apply, the candidates should submit the following:

1. A duly completed online application form    
   
   
2. A one page CV and a list of all publications. ( MS Word format only )
   (to be submitted electronically with form)
   
   
3. A one page abstract describing your own research interests. ( MS Word format only )
   (to be submitted electronically with form)
   
   
4. A letter of recommendation by the head of the Group or Department to be sent directly to Professor Parker at  Iqbal.Parker@uct.ac.za

It is the responsibility of each applicant to ensure that the completed application form and all required documentation are received by no later than 20th December 2011.

Any applications that are received after the 20th December 2011 deadline
or incomplete applications will be automatically rejected.

A Selection Committee will select up to 50 participants for the course  and successful candidates will be informed of the outcome of their applications by early January 2012.

Registration and Funding:

All participants will be required to pay a registration fee of €200 once accepted into the course. The course is funded by IUBMB, ICGEB and FASBMB. The cost of accommodation and all meals will be covered for the duration of the course. Meritorious candidates can apply for full or partial contribution towards the cost of their airfares by providing a detailed motivation.
